New AV Installation at the Tower of London

The New Armouries, which is the Tower of London’s main facility for daytime and evening events has a new audio-visual system in the Meeting Suite. The old rear projection unit has been replaced by two powerful, compact, ceiling mounted projectors and twin screens.

As well as updating the equipment, which can be used in conjunction with a variety of presentation media, including Powerpoint and DVD, the new system has solved the visibility problems presented by the original features of this distinctive 17th  century building. As a result, much better use can be made of the space when setting up for the maximum capacity of 100 people theatre style, or 42 cabaret style. There is now also greater versatility within the room, which means that the equipment is not obtrusive if clients want a venue for events such as smaller evening receptions which require no audio-visual presentations.

The New Armouries Banqueting Suite, as well as being the Tower’s largest venue for evening dinners and functions, is also a popular venue for daytime events. It has also  been newly equipped with a small, portable system comprising a high powered projector and a fold down screen which can be used along with our in-house PA system for any event requiring a basic audio-visual setup.
