Old Spitalfields Market Pancake Day Challenge in aid of  Barnardo’s  

Where: Old Spitalfields Market, outside Crepeaffaire

When: Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 February 2009  

Time:  10am – 12pm, 2pm – 4pm   Old

Spitalfields Market, in cooperation with Crepeaffaire, will be challenging locals to take part in a Pancake Day Challenge in aid of Barnardo’s. Participants will be challenged to flip and toss their pancakes whilst making their way through a tricky obstacle course. Crepeaffaire, well known for its delicious pancakes, will be keeping score and the winning team will received a weeks’ worth of scrumptious pancakes.

There will be two races taking place on both days, a team relay race for adults and a children’s contest.

There is a £15 registration fee for team of up to 5 adults, which will be donated to Barnardo’s.

Children can take part free of charge by turning up on the day.
