Story of London Festival: Women and the Anti-Apartheid Movement

2009 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Anti-Apartheid Movement. Join a panel of speakers to look at women’s involvement in the political activities in London, and their support for the women’s movement in South Africa, especially those that were engaged in the struggle for freedom. The event will feature writers, academics and activists, including London Anti-Apartheid women.
