Celebrate the Festive Season Italian-Style in Quadrato Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Canary Wharf. Champagne and white truffles highlight special events and seasonal menus. 

Annual Louis Roederer Champagne and Wine Evening
Friday, October 30, 2009, at 7:30 pm 
To kick off the season, Quadrato Restaurant in conjunction with Louis Roederer presents a special four-course dinner paired with champagne and wines from Louis Roederer. Menu items include: porcini mushroom and rucola salad, oven-baked ricotta, oak-smoked rapeseed oil (Louis Roederer Cristal 2002); seared fillet of red mullet, fregola mantecata braised artichokes (Domaines Ott Romassan 2008); beef tenderloin tagaliata, Bordeaux-braised celeriac, black truffle potato flan (Chateux Bernadotte 2003); and cantaloupe melon mousse with pineapple and chilly sorbet (Ramos Pinto 10-Year Tawny). A draw will be held to win a magnum of Louis Roederer Cristal 2002. Cost is GBP 95.00 per adult, inclusive of canapé reception, wine and champagne pairings, valet parking and VAT; reservations are recommended.

Tuscan Wine Dinner

Following a successful event in September, Quadrato Restaurant invites guests to another Tuscan Wine Dinner in November. The seated dinner service includes a four-course menu expertly paired with wines from Tuscany. Items include: cod brandade with grilled polenta crouton and vanilla essence; risotto al parmigiana with white truffles; seared loin of venison with roasted quince apple and chestnuts with mixed berry sauce; and chestnut pannacotta with sharon fruit compote and milk chocolate ganache. Cost is GBP 60.00 per adult; reservations are recommended.

Christmas Day Lunch

On Christmas Day, Quadrato Restaurant will host a five-course holiday-themed set-menu lunch to capture the palates of those looking to celebrate Christmas in style. Menu items include: beetroot-marinated wild salmon, pineapple carpaccio with pink peppercorn, horseradish foam, saffron grissino; pumpkin soup with crème fraîche and mostarda parcel; vanilla-scented fillet of sea bass with wild mushroom and barley montecato; rolled free-range roasted turkey, dried fruit and sage stuffing, traditional trimmings (chipolata sausage, roasted potato, brussels sprouts, peas, broccoli, cauliflower, courgettes, carrots, chestnuts, cranberry sauce and homemade gravy); and the traditional Christmas pudding with crème anglaise and cinnamon ice cream to finish. Cost is GBP 95.00 per adult, inclusive of live music, Christmas crackers, a visit from Father Christmas and valet parking; reservations are recommended.

Boxing Day Brunch
Saturday, December 26, 2009, from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm 
Quadrato Restaurant offers a chance to indulge and sample some of the finest Italian cuisine while sitting back, relaxing and enjoying time with family and friends. Cost is GBP 60.00 per adult, inclusive of a glass of prosecco on arrival, live music and valet parking; reservations are recommended.

New Year’s Eve Dinner
Thursday, December 31, 2009, until 1:30 am 
Celebrate a magical evening with that special someone amid sweeping views of the River Thames. Join Executive Chef Marco Bax and his culinary team to experience a five-course New Year’s Eve dinner. From 11:30 pm, all guests are invited to join the Hotel’s festivities and entertainment, with live music and a DJ, a midnight toast and dancing until 1:30 am. Cost is GBP 160.00 per adult with wine parings for each course and GBP 120.00 per adult without wine pairings, inclusive of mineral water, petit fours, coffee or tea, a glass of champagne for the toast, VAT and parking; reservations are recommended.

New Year’s Day Brunch
Friday, January 1, 2010, from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm
 
Start the year by leaving the stress of meal preparation to Four Seasons. Enjoy brunch featuring a vast selection of Italian favourites and a dessert buffet. Cost is GBP 45.00 per adult, inclusive of a glass of prosecco on arrival and valet parking; reservations are recommended.


Special Temptation Menus

White Truffle Fortnight
Monday, November 16, to Sunday, November 29, 2009
 
The highly anticipated truffle season is here once again, and Executive Chef Marco Bax brings the very best white truffles to Four Seasons Hotel Canary Wharf from his hometown in Alba, Italy. For two weeks, he will feature white truffle shavings in an array of Quadrato Restaurant’s favourite dishes, bringing out the rich potential of this gastronomic rarity. Menu items include beef carpaccio with girolle mushroom, parmesan cheese and white truffle shavings; fontina cheese fondue with white truffle shavings; homemade tagliolini with thyme, veal jus and white truffles; and white truffle risotto; as well as milk-poached fillet of cod, braised celeriac and sautéed black cabbage, and roasted veal loin, potato flan and winter root vegetables – all with white truffle shavings.

Festive Special Set Menu
Monday, November 30, to Wednesday, December 30, 2009 (excluding lunch on December 25 and 26)

Quadrato Restaurant offers a festive temptation menu for parties of 11 or more. Priced at GBP 25.00 for a three-course plated meal or GBP 22.00 for a two-course plated meal, it’s perfect for a festive gathering with friends, colleagues or family. For parties of 10 or fewer, you may choose from the à la carte menu or the Festive Temptation menu. Menu options include: endive salad with figs, stilton crumble and balsamic dressing; pumpkin soup with sour cream and cinnamon; goat cheese, leek and mushroom tart with smoked pepper reduction; and rolled free-range roasted turkey, dried fruit and sage stuffing and traditional trimmings. To finish, indulge in sweets created by Pastry Chef Daniele Maresca, from the famous tiramisu in a chocolate cup with vanilla sauce and coffee ice cream to the praline pannacotta with ginger ice cream and caramel syrup.
