Docklands Light Railway - Stratford International Extension

On track for Stratford InternationalThe Docklands Light Railway (DLR) extension to Stratford International is progressing well and is set to open this summer.
The six kilometre extension, which follows the same route as the Jubilee line, is made up of the former North London line stations at Canning Town, West Ham and Stratford and four new stations at Star Lane, Abbey Road, Stratford High Street and Stratford International.
Station construction will be completed in spring and it is anticipated that train testing will begin in May.
The extension will:
Provide improved transport capacity, reliability, accessibility and frequency in the local area
Meet the travel demands associated with the opening of the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre, and the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
Trains will operate at least every 10 minutes, and will run from Stratford International to Woolwich Arsenal and Beckton.
Journey times from Stratford International station:
Stratford: 2 minutes
Canning Town: 10 minutes
Woolwich Arsenal: 21 minutes
Beckton: 23 minutes
