World Cup and Wimbledon at Plateau

The sun has finally appeared and with it is a great summer of Sport of 2010.

Plateau restaurant, on Canada Place, has transformed its Bar & Grill terrace into a Beer Garden for the summer. A large TV screen will make Plateau Beer Garden the ideal setting to watch summer sports, including the World Cup and Wimbledon. Styled like a classic British beer garden, it will be the highest in Canary Wharf, serving draught beer for the first time, from Heineken. Guests will also be able to enjoy great food from the Grill and the terrace barbecue in a relaxing outdoor setting while enjoying the best views in Canary Wharf.

If classic British weather arrives, a large canopy will provide shelter from the rain and heaters will boost the temperature.

The Plateau Beer Garden is not taking reservations, so guests are encouraged to arrive early on match days to avoid disappointment.

For a guaranteed place, Plateau's second terrace can also be used for match screenings and is available for exclusive hire.
