The Women's Library is a library, museum and archive housing the most extensive collection of women's history in the UK. The collections have their origins in the women's suffrage movement and now comprise over 60,000 books and pamphlets, 2,500 periodical titles, 460 archive collections and 6,000 museum objects covering issues from health, sexuality and popular culture to politics, history and human rights.

As well as the resources for research in the Reading Room, there is a lively public programme of exhibitions and events, covering topics from votes for women to beauty queens. Access is free and open to everyone,
