Heron Quays West is a proposed prestige office development of approximately 216,000 m2 of gross internal area at Canary Wharf. The complex consists of three sequentially rising towers within one building and a pavilion building, for Class A3/A4 retail or training centre uses. In addition to premium office space, the three towers will host trading floors, totalling 48,600 m2 or 23% of the total floor area.
The development will incorporate passive design and energy efficiency measures, the latest technology in combined heat and power and feasible renewable energy technologies. Through these measures, the CO2 footprint of the building has been reduced substantially compared to a Building Regulations complaint baseline scheme.
The "world class" design will replace the low-rise buildings currently on the west of the estate near the junction with Westferry Road.
